COVID-19 Information and Precautions

We understand that skilled nursing facilities face heightened risks when it comes to infectious diseases, including COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). The health and safety of our residents—and the well-being of our dedicated staff—remain our highest priorities. We continue to implement precautionary measures aligned with CDC guidelines, while staying informed through updates from state and local health authorities. Below is a summary of the steps we’re taking to protect our community:

Communication & Transparency

• Ongoing updates shared with staff, residents, and families

• Prominent signage and reminders throughout the facility

• Staff available to answer questions from residents and visitors

• Timely updates posted to our website

Workforce Safety

• Daily screening of employees and residents for respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath)

• Flexible, non-punitive sick leave policies

• Encouragement for ill staff to stay home and arrange coverage

• Training and enforcement of proper PPE usage

Resident Protection

• Isolation protocols for symptomatic residents

• Suspension of off-site outings and external activities

• Modified programming to support safe social distancing

• In-room dining options to minimize exposure

 • Enhanced cleaning protocols in shared spaces (therapy, dining, activities, lobby)

Visitor, Vendor & Delivery Protocols

• Visitor restrictions in place (exceptions made for end-of-life situations)

• Vendor access limited with strict adherence to distancing guidelines

• Promotion of virtual connections (calls, video chats) to reduce isolation

We deeply appreciate your trust in us to care for your loved ones. Our commitment to safety, compassion, and transparency remains unwavering. We will continue to keep you informed as we navigate this evolving situation together.
